FUTURE WORK Future are geological work at Charity Site will further our understanding of the events that the place leading up to the disastrous winter of 16 49 - 50. More longhouses should be excavated so we can estimate the village population density and compare this information with the accounts in the Jesuit Relations. It would also be worthwhile to look for evidence of any short of defensive of structure on the parameter to help determine the size of the village and for vacation use. Ultimately, any further work at Charity Site will be done with the future, not the pass in mind. The present inhabitants of Christian Island, members of the Beausoleil First Nations, have the opportunity to create much needed revenues and recognition for their community. It is a unique chance for archeology to have a profound that pond the future by uncovering details of the past.
