Ontario Archaeological Society Symposium

The 39th Annual Symposium of The Ontario Archaeology Society is coming on fast. The symposium is being held in Windsor, Ontario from November 9-11, 2012 and is being hosted, jointly, by the Windsor and London Chapters of the O.A.S.

The symposium is entitled “A Bridge Across Time… The Archaeology of the Great Lakes” and the packed program has something for everyone. Sessions include Paleoindian, Archaic, Woodland, Western Basin, The War of 1812 as well as a workshop focused on Modernizing Ontario’s Archaeology Program being offered by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
